Why, oh why?

Josh Draeger

Why, oh why, must I have these eyes?
Why, oh why, must I see these things?
I wonder why, I have these ears?
I wonder why, I hear those rings?
I damn them all, no help at all,
all in all, they make me fall.
Why, oh why, must I have this nose?
Why, oh why, must I smell these scents?
I wonder why, I have this tongue?
I wonder why, I taste the mints?
I shouldn”t be here, I don””t want it,
there”s nothing to fear, this is no bit
