Useless Wishing On A Star

T-Marsh

I’m on the outside looking in
Where does it end
And where do I begin
Searching for non-existent places
Meaningless names
Meaningless faces
Trust is earned
And never found
Curled up crippled
On the ground
Love is lost
And faith is far
Useless wishing on a star
Old ones die
And new are born
Nothing left to reform
Soundless laughter
And screaming whispers
Who are you to decide where we differ?
