Untouchable

jessie

Untouched and Untouchable
hospital of dolls,
I blow them away.
There is a fire and thunder between us.
Once the storm is over,
I will return to you once again.
But for how long until the flames
engulf wholly and completely?
Burn all the monsters inside me
leaving me pure and unburdened.
Stepping away from old wars and scars,
emerging pure as a baby.
When I stop trying to answer universal mysteries
It”s much easier to live with uncertainty,
the notion that there are greater forces,
greater than we could ever imagine,
greater than ourselves.
and have some peace of mind anyway.
Remaining untouchable
