I know what I have
and I know the dis-ease you have with me.
At times it’s hard to understand
or even to stand me as a person.
I’m working hard to keep my swings under control
but know it’s hard sometimes.
Sometimes people will trigger my dis-ease
and I can’t control what, for so long,
has been normal for me
but abnormal for the rest of the “normal” people.
I’m trying,
but to be like “the norm” is new for me
