The Morning After

Sage

A tap on the head
a brush of the cheek
I see her standing near
The rush of the dark
the sound of a voice
I panic from the fear
Unable to move
wanting to go
a prisoner under attack
feeling the noise
seeing her near
the panic rushes back
I close my eyes
all is still there
surrounded by stimulation
I fall asleep
and then I wake
still bound by hallucination
