The Beginning

James Ellner

Cut the bread into slices of Christ
Drank the wine, typed it Jesus blood
His mother is such a good girl
He had a penchant for nails and spikes
Worked with wood
Mule for travel
Crib for sleep
Manger for birth
Stars and moon for night light
Breath of beast for warmth
Open aired stable
Orphan to the world
Spent a lot of time alone
Taught class of revelation
Drew a large crowd with age
Became god
And died
