Storm of hope

Katili

The storm spinning dead leaves
in a strange forest.
I’m lost,
my eyes covered with moss
reading books of wicked luck.
The flood of crashing rain
sweeps away the ancient paths.
There, the sound of laughter born again.
Trees bending down with whispers
pledges of hope.
