Predilection

James Crouch

The blandness of life,
on the tip of my tongue
No feelings inside,
an empty can of worms
You pass me on the decline,
Don”t tell me Ill be fine,
My lust for life begins to erode,
It”s just another mixed episode.
He”s lazy, he doesn”t try,
He”s got no reason to cry
He doesn”t know pain,
A good sleep and he”ll be sane
You think I chose my fate,
That I started with a clean slate
My destiny is chosen for me,
Emotional instability.
