Doing a dance in a looney bin

Philip Thomas

Doing a dance in a looney bin
Where people learn to begin
To get their heads together
With Dignity and charm
Most of us will do no harm
Doing a dance in a hotel
Where some people think i”m not well
But i”m just doin” my own thing
If i want i”ll dance and sing
What harm am i doing in this world of love?
I feel my hand fits a glove
There is no hate there is no pain
But i know soon the medication will bring me down
And now i”ll stop acting like a clown
