Dark Heaven

Jim

In a dusty loft
With withered suitcases
I”m alone with the spooks
Six and a half decades
Of decadence
Pictures and families
All delusion
I have the word sorrow tattooed on my back
Being always nude of reality
It”s visible to everyone but me
Secluded in my house
With windows covered
I think someone is coming to rescue me
But its just another occupant
Slamming his car door
Really can”t tell you”re gone
You never talked anyway
I want to be young again
With an ocean of alcohol
And a woman”s breath under me
I walk and you dance
We both get our exercise
Apart
