trying to hold on

Deb

my brain’s going way too fast
it’s a pity it didn’t last
now life’s grey and I’m depressed
the damage of mania
has left such a mess
I hate the way my brain distorts
I can’t control the darkest thoughts
no one has noticed
or maybe don’t care
that I live my life
in such despair
there is no way out
I’ve tried every door
I know can’t live with bipolar much more
death’s getting closer
I have
to say
maybe…
today
