Poem: Two American kids
Amidst the scenic country side
They travel hand in hand
Under the bluest skies they fall
From grace or from just a tree
For them it is the same

Two American kids
Within them both, a deep love
A grace unlike any other
A pact made between souls
Old enough to bleed
But young enough to see
The truth between themselves

Two American kids
Blue skies turn to red
The sun becomes a crimson moon
The trees begin to laugh together
They seem to know something
Something the kids can’t figure out
The mystery has begun
They’re journey has just ended...
