Poem: This was the day I put my pants on backwards
in a world that seemingly always wants to move forward.
This was the day it rained from top to bottom
yet my umbrella didn't open.
It was like I was skydiving
and I forgot to open my parachute.
There I was drifting like a cloud
in a world that never moves fast enough to catch me.
I stand now, alone
with a tear soaked face.
I'm still waiting for that umbrella to save me....
