Title: The Sun Cycles Too
Author: Anonymous
Date Submitted: 3/5/2008

Poem: The sun rises against
The death of yesterday
All I gotta say
I'm not sorry

Victims we awaken to the hunger
To be rid of our dead eyes
Tender tears you won't find here
Time's wasted with good-byes to yesterday
How do we get so lost in the dark?

At least I'm still alive
Thunder, lightning
Crashing, flashing
Quicksand spreading
Everyone takes a shot
At the sunset's glow
Promising tomorrow ...
