Poem: So why do I spend so much time
In a neighborhood called Huguenot?
Is the question on my mind?

The Outerbridge crossing from Perth Amboy
To Staten Island to Huguenot the first time
Made me want to rush back
Joanne that time I knew

Route 209 out of Port Jervis to Huguenot
For a meaningless cup of coffee
That meant too much to me
What was I doing there sweet Cathy?

First date across from the horse farm
Going home doing 86 on Route 84
Trying to get away from Huguenot
Was I just using you Chris?

What am I doing here?
I'm afraid to know!
My cover has been blown
The truth recognized
Ten years later
Hard to accept

Jesus Christ!
I can't go back to happier days
On the name of a neighborhood...
