Poem: Sometimes when everything falls apart, there are too many pieces to hold onto. We're lost in the blackness, and there's nothing to hold onto.

The weight is too much to bare upon fragile ghostly bodies, filling with thick choking darkness, rasping breaths break us from within as the darkness presses in around us.

Sometimes there is nothing left, no light and no strength and hope it has faded. Sometimes there is nothing to do but pray - pray for freedom.

I feel bound in this world, incapable. Helpless despite best intentions to do all but witness this insufferable end - yours and mine. Why must I fail you too?

And no matter how we try, maybe it won't ever be enough? There's always more pain. Always left wondering what more there is to do. A spectator and a player in this tragedy of life.

And we're left with the answer: nothing.

There's nothing left to do when we're hopeless, when we're broken and the will to survive has run dry. Even though I'd give up myself and my world if it could just make a difference to you.

No, we were always doomed. Many times broken, we knew there was no point. And I shed another tear for you now, and it all seems so cruel.

But maybe this blackness will take me away too....
