Only I can know my pain For how can you see my soul? Can anyone indeed partake Another's ache? Plumb the deep, Know how numb, Or hear the silent cry stifled in the heart? Nor can I, I fear, Empathise in full what you endure, Which though I may Ache though I do Thus to be lovingly part of you.... |
