I am bipolar, this I know Because everyone tells me so. I've been called crazy since high school, Although I don't feel like a fool. I'm up one minute and then depressed. I feel fine then I'm in distress, I write poetry to express myself, But feel my reality stays on the shelf. I've been in and out of hospitals for years. I try to cry but have no tears. I'm in a real living hell, And don't believe I'll ever get well. So when you read these words I write, Know that I may be up all night, Thinking of nothing but the pain. Wondering why I care to remain.... |
