Screaming in my head Horrid dreams slicing skins Bleeding from festering wounds Never healing Hold out my open arms Reaching for nothing Held down by sorrow's hand Plunge headfirst into the icy waters of the abyss Hold fast fleeting thoughts of happiness Swim in the shallow waters of despair Righteous hand held at bay Fighting the dark waters of melting dreams Drowning in a sea of untamed thoughts Weak from endless horrors and wounds left deep Horror fills the night and sadness the days Walking on broken glass Blood pools Then runs cold Still standing No will to be Lost in this endless void Lost within me ... |
