I can't gaze upon my reflection Because I have no face The rain has washed away the light Leaving nothing in its place. Does the soul ache and moan As the darkness cuts so deep Tears of blood fill the water Who alone will weep? I'm the faceless one, I stand alone Shunned even by the land For no-one understands the words Just memories in the sand I have no friends to call my own They cannot look upon my face What they see really frightens them I have no-one to embrace. ... |
