“Don’t you want to find someone to fall in love with?” As if the goal is to count on someone else to bring you happiness. “Don’t you want to have children?” It doesn''t matter how you feel, just please the others around you. “But you have a roof over your head.” As if I’m not immensely grateful for what I have. “You have a bed to sleep in.” As if depending on materials holds the route to happiness. “You’ll get over it in a week.” As if I haven’t wasted all of this time, I had hoped it would be over by now, As if I wouldn’t worry about a thing, But as you can take notice of, It’s never that simple.... |
