Poem: Like a polar bear in an avalanche.
This ice-pack gusting down my back;
A whale brick of burden.
My legs caught in tar.
These curtains block the light;
Blue curtains hanging like the sky.
The sky is so free.
A tree is a god:
Living but dead.
These curtains should be tied with a rope,
A rope as black as its value.
Even the simple become the duty.
Life grows without me;
She lifts one leg, then the other.
My being is eaten.
These curtains are vultures.
I am a wound-up broken clock....
