In the night darkness she walks head held low She knows the pain of rejection Over years her pain has grown And like a cancer eats at her soul For her there is no protection All those who have cast her aside of them there are many They sleep so sound at night, she never rests, aching never ceases Her senses scream with tortured feelings In life she fails the test. Weep not for her as she disappears An end to this painful life Is this the only way to find peace? To escape from the endless aching? Her heart no longer beats - it is still When she cuts it with her knife.... |
