Poem: Where do you stand?
I, a Monster of my own world.
Masked behind many shades of colors,
Described as pills, make me.
A Monster of my own world.
For what is seen is temporary.
It shall trick you.
Do not believe the sky is blue or the grass is green.
That is what you are told is normal.
The unseen, underneath is what is eternal.
Life treats you fair,
It gives you smiles and happiness.
Life treats you wrong,
It brings you tears and pain.
So focus, the disaster of a tornado is what really?
To me it is nothing but beauty.
The whirling winds spin madly around me
As the earth calmly sits still.
So, Where do you stand?
A Hero, One who is admired for their achievements and noble qualities.
Or a Villain, One who is blamed for a particular evil,
The opposite of the Hero.
Here I am between the Hero and the Villain.
It is my place of familiarity.
I do not choose the outcome, the outcome chose me.
If there was control,
Would you change it? Would I?
There are no words for the in between.
At last, I am a monster of my own world.
Where would you stand?...
