Poem: Living in the Missouri Ozarks
July ticks and mosquitoes
Thirty seven years hence
Thunderstorms and tornados
I''ve been gone so long
It''s just on the roadway that culminated here
With just a few years in Southern Illinois
Working in my bipolar psychosomatic crack up
Covered it with booze for two decades
Arrived in Arizona in 1989
Pasted together now twenty one years
The anguish is comprehensible in the Tardive Dyskinesia
Beauty if insane
Hidden in a room
Strange old man
Once handsome and insane
Now elderly and frail
Beggar on Social Security...
