Title: In the Eye of My Storm
Author: Julie Park

Poem: In the eye of my storm. All of the doctors, they stay. They look down into my world. Twisting and turning my brain.
Insanity by definition is really quite small. Doctors know next to nothing. There’s no "madness" cure-all.
In the eye of my storm. As I fall down, down, down.
The doctors don’t feel the pain fall. As I both smile and I also frown
I believe that I’m the rainbow, I believe that I’m the clouds; I believe that I’m the storm. I believe I am you in a crowd.
I feel that I’m the rain. I know what water feels like falling. I’ve been falling for the longest time. I’ve been begging for help, crawling.
I thought that I would be burned, so, I shaved off all of my hair. My watch fell off and time stopped. And I lived to feel even more despair.
I am the Mother of the Sky. Or at least I thought I was. Put me in the hospital for 3 days. Tell me I’m not; why? just because.
Because, how do you disagree with me? When I know, it’s the absolute truth. I hear and see things that you can’t see. When I cry, I really do cry for you.
I’ve sent the ocean back to the sand; when, once, water took over the World. I was the only person left standing, for awhile. As the waves around me and life swirled
I’ve been Jesus, the Holy Spirit and also God
I’ve been Mother Mary and, the first light
I believe that I’ve been killed every day for living
I don’t believe that we were born to die
It’s all about gravity and anti gravity
Oscillations and colored orbs
It’s about Lucifer and Thoth and Edgar Allen Poe
It’s about the energy we each can absorb
The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit
Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do
The eye of my storm, think you’re safe from my pain
Today I’m not the alpha, I am the Omega...
